We’re proud to support youth hockey across New Brunswick as the presenting sponsor of all provincial minor hockey tournaments. Our commitment goes beyond the rink, celebrating not just the sport but also the values that make hockey great—teamwork, sportsmanship, and community spirit.
That’s why we’ve partnered with Hockley New Brunswick to launch a Team of the Month Program that recognized teams that make a difference both on and off the ice. Once a month from November to March DFNB will feature a team as Community Champions.
Together, these initiatives highlight the best of hockey in our province—players, coaches, and communities coming together to inspire the next generation.

Community Champions
Throughout the hockey season, once a month, one team from across the province will be recognized for the positive impact they are making. Whether it’s supporting local initiatives, showing outstanding sportsmanship, or going above and beyond for their community, these teams represent what it means to truly be champions.
Each winning team will be featured on our website and social media, sharing their story, photos, and the ways they are making a difference. In addition, winners will receive a pizza party, milk, swag, and a special treat for parents.
Minor hockey teams may apply once per year. Applications will be accepted from September to December, with the program running November through March. Teams will be notified only if they are selected.
